Meet Shivanshi — Founder of SkinDeepGlow
There’s a moment I’ll never forget.
I was sitting in class, just like any other school day, when my teacher looked at me and said — “Shivanshi, what happened to your face?” — with an expression I still can’t forget.
That moment hurt. A lot.
I was 14, already struggling with oily skin and stubborn pimples that just wouldn’t go away no matter what I tried. And having someone point it out in front of everyone — someone who was supposed to make me feel safe — made me feel embarrassed, frustrated, and honestly, really alone.
But something shifted in me that day.
I made myself a quiet promise — one day, I’m going to fix this. And I’m going to help everyone else who feels the way I felt right now.
That promise became SkinDeepGlow.
A Little More About Me
Hi, I’m Shivanshi — a 10th grade student from Lucknow, India, and the founder of SkinDeepGlow.com.
I’m 17 years old, passionate about English and Science, and deeply curious about how skin works — not just on the surface, but at a deeper level. My two favorite subjects aren’t a coincidence. English helps me communicate what I learn, and Science helps me actually understand it.
Outside of blogging, I’m a student first — balancing textbooks, exams, and a genuine love for learning. But SkinDeepGlow is my passion project, my purpose, and honestly, one of the most important things in my life right now.
I launched SkinDeepGlow on January 14, 2025 — and I haven’t looked back since.
My Skin Story
My skin journey has been anything but easy.
I’ve had oily skin and frequent breakouts for as long as I can remember. For a long time, I felt like I was doing everything wrong — I tried products that didn’t work, remedies that made things worse, and advice that simply didn’t apply to my skin type.
The most frustrating part? Most of the skincare content I found online felt either too complicated, too expensive, or just completely out of touch with what real people — especially teenagers — actually go through.
So I started doing my own research. I read about ingredients. I studied skin types. I tested things carefully. And slowly, I started to understand my skin in a way no product or shortcut had ever helped me do before.
That self-research changed everything for me. And it became the foundation of every article I write on SkinDeepGlow.
I write from real experience — not textbooks, not trends. Just honest research and a genuine desire to help.
Why I Started SkinDeepGlow
SkinDeepGlow wasn’t just created to be a blog. It was created to be the resource I desperately needed but couldn’t find.
When that teacher made that comment about my face, I felt something I never want anyone else to feel — that their skin defines their worth, their confidence, or how the world sees them.
It doesn’t. And I want every single person who visits this blog to know that.
I started SkinDeepGlow because I believe that skincare knowledge should be simple, honest, and available to everyone — not just people who can afford expensive consultations or who already know all the right terms.

Where I’m Headed — My Big Dream
I’m not just a blogger. I’m building something much bigger.
My dream is to become a skincare scientist — someone who truly understands skin at a scientific level and uses that knowledge to create real, effective solutions for real people.
I’m working toward becoming a skincare professional, with the long-term goal of building my own skincare brand under the name SkinDeepGlow — featuring natural, science-backed products that I formulate myself.
Products that are honest. Products that actually work. Products made for people like us.
SkinDeepGlow the blog is just the beginning. One day, it will be a brand — and that brand will carry the same promise this blog has always had: real skincare, for real people.
